Unburdened

This piece is kind of inspired by a song or maybe I should say the age where you are supposed to have achieved much more than you have. (32+)

The word “unburdened” brings so many thoughts to my mind, first of those would be, “how we are?” then I thought I should correct myself because I might be living in my own world. So, I should say that, “how many of us are burdened by what we should have achieved till now?”. And this makes me wonder about our potential but still so much of our mind space is captured by “what all we should have done by now?”.

I am myself is a victim of being surrounded by such views every day/every moment. Everything that we do during the day is all influenced by what we should do and I think because of that we hardly enjoy even watching a show or movie or reading a book because we feel that we might be wasting our time.

And when I ponder on this, I feel that life is so fleeting and we don’t know what is going to happen next moment and we might not be here next moment and that thought in itself should make us feel our potential and do extraordinary not to prove anything to anyone but for ourselves.

We, people, have such potential that we ourselves are not aware of. I wish we realize at this moment while I am writing this and unlock that potential and do things with an open mind without worrying about the judgment around.

I know that we know that, what is right and wrong already but we are just so stuck in that loop of what everyone says and doubting ourselves every step of the way.

How would we excel if we take this growth mentality and not worry about what will happen next? and we don’t think about the question of that are we doing the right thing? or are we going to succeed?

We are already the dying breed. People who think they know a lot already might be right but we are still in the exploration mode and we have more potential to grasp and get a lot more than these people as we are open to learning and hearing from everywhere.

So, let’s not belittle ourselves, let’s respect ourselves and keep ongoing.

Until next time.. :)
